I’m Kate, the founder and owner of Valley & Oak Events, based in Grand Rapids, MI. I’ve had a passion for making people smile all my life and solidified that passion with a degree in hospitality. Being a total hands-on, not afraid to get dirty, badass chick, I hope to show that through my weddings & events and to hand-make and exceed expectations whenever possible.

I am a licensed financial advisor that helps married couples prepare, budget and plan for the expenses of a wedding. I also help couples prepare their finances for a life together with future goals including, family planning, paying off debt and growing their net worth.
